Friends of Nepali Villages (FNV) is a non-governmental organization, raised to empower the people of the rural communities of Nepal. Prime goal of our organization is to bring about long-lasting, self-sustainable and socio-economical benefits to the needy and low income communities. We endeavor to create awareness among the local inhabitants, mobilize their available time and resources, and motivate them to create collective efforts to achieve the prime goals.
Apart from the rural probe our program focuses on women, discriminated castes, children and backward communities. We strive to contribute to the realization of the Millennium Development Goals agreed by the government leaders in 2000: the eradication of extreme poverty and hunger, the ensure of environmental sustainability and the promotion of gender equality and empowerment of women.
